First, for "observant," very intelligent post by the way, but I disagree with your comment. I was refering to a previous post where this individual was, in my opinion, stereotyping.
Second, reading Cooperite's ridulous rant gave me a headache.
Dude... I've never been so happy for laws, especially concealed weapon's laws because I know idiots like you probably roam the streets. You're they type of person who unlawfully carries a gun because you don't believe in the U.S.' "corrupt legal system." So when the cops search you after stoping you for jaywalking, because you don't believe in the "corrupt legal system," then they'll throw your ass in jail, for unlawfully carrying a gun, where you probably belong. Actually, I'd be you're probably at Corcoran right now reading this. How else would you know about a pot head getting thrown into a cell with a rapist? I haven't heard that on bad cop, no donut.
Although Cooperite, I'm sure you will "successfully resist" one of these days when a cop tries to enforce an unjust law like jaywalking. You'll fight so much that a cop will say, "alright, you win... no ticket for you." If you fight a cop, don't be surprised that you'll feel pain. They don't get paid to get hurt or killed because you don't believe in laws.
By the way, what is so wrong with the jaywalking law? Why is it so difficult to cross the street at a crosswalk? When I'm driving I hate having to stop for these idiots and risk getting rear-ended.
And Cooperite, out of curiousity, what laws do you believe in, if any? I know its definitely not any weapons laws.
If you hate laws, don't bitch at cops because they're not writing them, their job is the enforce them. Also, I looked at the state penal and vehicle code, and I didn't see one law that made me want to run for the mountains because of how unjust it was. Federal laws are a different story, ex. FCC, but cops don't deal with that. Like it was previously mentioned, cops and federal law enforcement agencies, like the FBI or DEA, work in two different worlds.
If your pissed off at these laws, yell at your elected officials. They're the ones enacting them. I think most cops are doing the right thing, but most people are so self-centered that they will never have any sense of accountability.
Finally, this is for "encountering violence's" post. After reading that you seem like a regular super hero. I just want to know one thing, say that dude who was smacking a girl around came after you, would you have stabbed him? Or would you have run away because you'd get your ass kicked? Cops don't get paid to run away from danger.
