Current ordinance is too prohibitive for a dispensary to open

Santa Cruz' medical marijuana ordinance regulates medical marijuana patients as though they were a bunch of alcoholics. The law was cut and pasted from the City's ordinance which regulates hard alcohol sales.

Even beer and wine licenses are less restrictive.

Valerie Corral and WAMM should support the Pacific Coast Cooperative to reopen on Pacific Ave. On a recent Free Radio Santa Cruz show with the V-man she advised medical marijuana patients in wheelchairs to get their medicine "in Aptos."

That's not good enough.
