Re: Agents of Repression and Big Brother

I'm at Rutgers Tent State, I can't believe this happened to you... I'm so sorry! Much Love To Peaceful Activists and Activists For Peace!

Who is the SPY?

So who is the cop with the camera? Who demanded video be shot? What is it going to be used for? Criminal prosecution? Are bad students going to be brought up on University charges as an additional form of harassment? How about getting the newsmedia to identify this dude and find out who authorized his involvement. Certainly Gail Heit, Jean Marie Scott, Francisco Hernandez or the UCSC police chief.

Re: Agents of Repression and Big Brother

So what is the sex lies and videotape being used for? Who is the spy? A cop or a UCSC staffer? Francisco Hernandez is the head of student affairs. How come folks aren't asking him why there are spies videotaping students?

Re: Agents of Repression and Big Brother

that cop was from anti military recruiment rally, cops can take any picts/ video they want.

More from Berkeley

Some of these cops came from other UC's... that probably means that the directive to use force on these students came from the TOP.

Here is a link to Thursday's antirecruitment action at UC Berkeley. You'll notice at least one familiar face.
