Re: Free Live Orchestra, Thursday Morn and Afternoon

I went and listened to the open rehearsals on Wednesday night. It was great. Such a different vibe to see it during rehearsals where everyone's dressed casually, the music starts and stops every minute or two, and there's just not that typical snooty, upper-class BS that is so often associated with classical music performances.

Personally, I liked sitting all the way to the side, near the top row, so that I was very close to the performers, but could look down over the whole orchestra. Fascinating to watch all the movement, particularly in the percussion section.

So go check it out. It's fun, casual, engaging and FREE FREE FREE.

Really, just walk in and find a seat. If you like it, stay. If not, quietly walk out.
