UCSC Students Against War Teach-In Draws Hundreds

On March 3rd, Students Against War (SAW), a newly formed UCSC organization, held a teach-in about the war in Iraq. SAW is comprised of three different campaigns that work closely together to fight against manifestations of the war-machine on a very local level. - guarantee the freedom of their workers to form and join a union without reprisal, and

- guarantee that workers not face any kind of harassment, abuse, or discrimination.

It has reached the extent that workers are threatening to withhold their labor if conditions do not improve and the workers are not treated with respect.
