Since the death of his son on March 27, 2003, Fernando has been traveling around the country with Military Families Speak Out (MFSO) speaking out against the occupation and invasion of Iraq. Last December he traveled to Iraq with Global Exchange and a group of military families to listen to the needs and desires of the Iraqi people. He returned home to meet with members of congress, UN officials and the media to speak out and expose...without bitterness...the lies and injustices perpetrated by the Bush administration and its war in Iraq.

The presentation will be in the Brown Beret Office located at 406 Main Street in the CAB classroom behind the Luttich (Ritmo Latino) Building. Coffee and pan dulce will be provided.
The vigil and talk are sponsored by the Resource Center for Nonviolence and the Watsonville Brown Berets. Contact Jenn: 831-429-1931
