Dr. Kevin Danaher, co-founder of Global Exchange in San Francisco, a human rights organization dedicated to promoting political, social, & environmental justice around the globe.

DR. DANAHER is described by the New York Times as "the Paul Revere of globalization's woes". His analytical expertise, sense of humor, & blunt eloquence make him an exceptionally dynamic speaker. He conducts workshops on issues ranging from the workings of the global economy to how we can replace the power of transnational corporations with local green economy networks. A long-time critic of the "free trade" agenda, he will explain how we must work with other countries to reduce poverty & inequality if we want the cooperation of the world's people in ending terrorism.

He is the author and/or editor of 11 books in his field and will have a selection of books available for purchase.

Doors 7pm, lecture begins 7:30pm, $20.
