There will be a Copwatch Training followed by a discussion of community justice and police alternatives. Free food and drinks will be provided.

Some of the topics covered will be:

*Your rights when you are stopped by the police

*What to look for when you see someone else being stopped

*Staying safe while observing police

*What can be done if the police have violated your rights

*How to document incidents

*Plus an introduction to video taping and using a police scanner
