VETERAN'S DAY ACTION - THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11th - please share widely
and quickly!!

Are you in a state of shock and shame as we deluge yet another Iraqui
city with bombs, sacrificing untold numbers of innocent lives - and as
we create more injured and dead American young??

If ever there was a time when we need to stay strong, to stay truthful
and outspoken, this is it!

Please join us on Thursday, November 11th, Veteran's Day, for positive
action

Meet at 4PM on the corner in front of O'Neill's store, across from the
Cinema 9 in downtown Santa Cruz (corner of Cooper Street and Pacific
Avenue)

bring candles, thoughtful signs, creative outfits, gongs, small drums,
feathers, etc. (and dress warmly) - together, we will co-create this
action, in the spirit of nonviolence and peace, reaching out,
remembering, honoring, and calling for an end to this war now!

in difficult and dark times, every action we continue to take for
justice builds the wave that will finally bring about the needed
changes and transformation - may we turn the tide for peace and love
together!
