Only 5 or so people appeared at the DEA's office in downtown San Jose this afternoon for the emergency protest of the WAMM raid in Santa Cruz 2 days prior.

Organized by Dennis Umphress of Americans for Safe Access (a project of the Cannabis Action Network), the protest was attended by a local NBC affiliate who appeared not to film anything, and Telemundo channel 48 which sent only a camera and no reporter.

Dennis speculated that a corresponding rally organized literally only an hour or two beforehand in Santa Cruz at the steps of the county building, diverted most of the anticipated SC crowd of protesters.
