Alicia Jrapko is going to be our guest speaker. She was born and raised in Cordoba Argentina. In 1976 during the repressive military dictatorship she was forced to leave her homeland and relocate in the San Fransisco Bay Area.

She will be talking to us about the issues going on in Chiapas, Mexico and the organization she is working with called Pastors for Peace. We are doing this event to educate and raise money for the indigenous people in Chiapas, whom rights have been abused and suffer from poverty. We are raising the money so they can buy seeds and plant them on their land.
