Wilderness First Responder: Emergency Medical Training for Activists
Southwestern Montana, June 19-July 2, 2005
Emergency medical training is a crucial part of every activist's toolkit. Wilderness First Responder training (including Red Cross CPR) provides you with the skills to deal with many of the emergencies you may find on the streets or in the wilderness, from spinal injuries to hypothermia, wounds to heat stroke. Supplemental trainings will include herbal first aid and treatment of police weapons, not required in standard WFR certification.
Course tuition is $550, which includes meals, campsites and training materials/books. A $250 deposit is required by May 1, which is the application deadline. Class size is limited to 20 people, so subit your application ASAP!!!
