Week of Action Drew International Attention to Women's Progress Worldwide

The "Global Week of Action - Beijing and Beyond," held from March 1 - 8 and co-sponsored by the Women's Edge Coalition, addressed a wide range of global women's concerns while celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Beijing World Conference on Women.
