The UC Regents would like to say thank you to the students for letting us fuck you over quarter after quarter. We’re really grateful to you for not getting too pissed off about tuition increases and budget cuts. It makes our job of balancing the budget on the backs of students and workers that much easier. Sorry, but we have to raise tuition 8-10% next year. How else could we afford to give away 2.4 million dollars in executive bonuses UC-wide? Or to create a bogus job for the new Chancellor’s partner, with an annual salary of $192,000? We really appreciate your complacency and understanding.
