If you really are against military recruitment, visit your local recruiter and waste all his time pretending to consider a career in the armed forces. Ask questions, let him talk, and just jerk him around for as long as you can. They're under a lot of pressure to recruit, and typically pursue a serious candidate for 2-3 months. You can reduce their effectiveness by keeping them in the office where they can't hurt anyone.
