LRDP Student Involvement Meeting: PREPARE FOR FALL 2005: Student Input on the 2005 Long Range Development Plan (LRDP) Environmental Impact Report (EIR).

- Bay Tree Conference Room C -- 2:00-4:00 PM
Have you attended any LRDP Student Involvement meetings? Come this Friday to get the low-down on the next opportunity for direct input in the LRDP process (Fall 05). Join us in organizing a student involvement strategy. We will also update on the City's General Plan Advisory Committee, the Campus Sustainability Plan, and critical avenues for student participation in shaping Santa Cruz's future. Education For Sustainable Living Program (ESLP) Potluck/BBQ Extra-veg-anza!

- Meet at Classroom Unit 2 at 4:00 PM,

- or Meet at Harvey West Park at 5:00 PM

On Memorial Day come down to Harvey West Park to join the ESLP end-of-year potluck/BBQ! Music, food, art, fun, and more! A local band and open mic/forum for anyone to share anything with this great community! The ESLP Action Research Teams (Green Building, UCSC Campus Planning, Commodity Chains, Biofuels & Cooperatives, Coalition Building, Spiritual Ecology & Cosmocentrism, Composting, and Sustainable Food Systems) will also have the opportunity to speak and preview their amazing projects.

- The Digital Media Factory (2809 Mission Street) -- 6:00-8:00 PM

Entrepreneurs, businesspeople, students, activists, scientists and researchers come together every Tuesday night to talk about how to make Santa Cruz a better, cooler and more happening place. If you are interested in meeting these kinds of folks and talking about future visioning, economic development, sustainable communities, and brainstorming cool things for Santa Cruz and then working to make them tangible and real.... then join us!!!
