An informational picket line was also held at the Watsonville Metro Transit Center at 475 Rodriguez.

I did not have the time, our background, to ask the questions suggested by R. Paul Marcelin-Sampson.

Questions to ask, to see if people are telling the truth

I appreciate that R. Paul has taken the time to ask important questions, R. Paul rides the bus as a primary means of transportation, and R. Paul has used his time and skills to create I Ride The Bus dot Org.

Thanks for posting the pictures and for staying neutral on the issue

Bradley, thanks for posting these pictures and for maintaining a neutral stance on an issue that you admit is unfamiliar. Others jumped on a bandwaggon, repeating *union* demands and all but ignoring the impact on *riders*.

Side note: What's up with "R. Paul this", "R. Paul that"? It sounds mocking. Maybe that was your intent. My first name is French. English-speakers pronounce it incorrectly and love to make fun of it. When I'm writing my *full* name and I have the choice, I put my first initial. But when you see me downtown, do you greet me as "R. Paul" or just as "Paul"?

"What's up with "R. Paul this", "R. Paul that"?"

Sorry Paul. I certainly did not mean to mock you or your name. It won't happen again.

One thing that I left out was that I sincerely appreciate that Paul speaks at most every Metro board meeting, participates in transit committees, and actively works to improve Metro.

Re: Bus Drivers Picket at Santa Cruz Metro Transit Center

they are the biggest whiners i have ever seen. they think they're some sort of gift to humainity. they are VERY REPLACEABLE and very lucky to have the jobs they have.

i SAY BUST THE UNION VERY HARD and teach these over-employed busdrivers a quick lesson in economic reality.

Re: Bus Drivers Picket at Santa Cruz Metro Transit Center

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. FOR A SEMI-SKILLED JOB, YOU busdrivers GET PAID INCREDIBLY WELL. THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WOULD BE VERY READY TO TAKE YOUR JOB AT A CUT IN PAY. And they would be very able to do the job well.

don't kid yourself that you are some kind of elite crew.

you have gotten way to cocky and have way too great of an opnion of yourslef. word to the wise: pride goeth before the fall. i for one hope your union gets busted.

ozziebozoexplosion is a troll who is trying to use this forum to discredit the metro bus drivers who are in the middle of contract negotiations.
