On July 16, hundreds of people marched and rolled on Pacific Ave. and over to Santa Cruz City Hall in a demonstration of community solidarity opposing the recent decision of the Supreme Court and of Congress that leaves sick and dying Californians vulnerable to persecution from the federal government.
In a symbolic act of compassionate access, WAMM patient members led the march holding live cannabis plants. This solemn event honored the 154 WAMM members who have died since WAMM's inception in 1993.

Still No Substantive Comment or Action on Local Clubs
The silence continues.
Nor was there any mention of the upcoming Greenway club application by Lisa Molyneux.
That will be going to the Planning Commission at 7 PM Thursday July 21st at City Hall. Rotkin, to his credit, has put in on the City Council agenda at 3 PM Tuesday July 26th.
Folks can call in to 420-5020 to ask Council to support the Club; call the Planning Department at 420-5100 to support the application there.
Thanks for the photo coverage
