Bus Leaving Friday from SF to No Border Encuentro in San Diego--Reserve you seat Now!
The Bay Area Coalition to Fight the Minutemen is organizing a bus to leave San Francisco on Friday night at 10 pm to go down to San Diego for the No Border Encuentro. The cost is $30 per person (this is to cover the cost of gas and the bus). The Encuentro (8/27-8/28) will be two fun-packed days of border tours, music, speakers, workshops, direct action training, and strategy sessions.
Need a ride? To get on the bus, you need to do two things:
1) Email
stoptheminutemen (at) riseup.net and confirm that you are coming on the bus (ASAP!)
2) Show up on Friday, Aug. 26, 10 pm at 16th & Capp St. (in between Mission & Van Ness; half a block from 16th & Mission BART stop). This is the meeting location for those riding the bus down.
We will arrive back in San Francisco really early Monday morning (about 5 am!)
This is a preparatory event for the Sep. 16 action at the border to Shut Down the Minutemen. It is a way to not only have a good time but to make connections with other folks to build a radical movement against racism, all borders, and capitalism.

answer the question.....

Well, maybe an extended border, like what they have in Europe. Realisticly though, this action is mostly just to counter the effects of the Minutemen. I don't think it is a good idea to personally harrass anyone including the Minutemen at their homes, as was implied in an earlier article. But it is a good idea to hold rallies at the border, or at other public places where Minutemen might gather, protesting their actions.
