JOIE COOK

JOIE COOK IS A MUSICIAN, POET, PAINTER who has returned to the Bay Area after a 4 year hiatus in the Northwest. Her many chapbooks include My Body Is a War Toy (Zeitgeist Press) and Acts of Submission (Manic D Press). Currently, she is an advocate for Hepatitis C research and cures. Joie was the first poet to read at Café Babar in the mid 80s and this will be her final performance.
