REPRODUCTIVE CHOICE: THE WASHINGTON REPORT
Sam Farr has represented the 17th Congressional District, including most of the Central Coast region, since 1993. Prior to that he served twelve years in the California State Assembly and six years as Monterey County Supervisor. Throughout his political career Sam has been an unwavering champion of reproductive rights and access to services. His report from Washington will focus on current federal issues including Supreme Court appointments and cases, political meddling at the FDA, dismantling the health care safety net, weakened US support for international family planning programs - and the essential work of pro-choice advocates.
