We are entering an era where we will have to fight to defend the rights that we have gained over the last 50 years. We are organizing a coalition, Santa Cruz for Fair and Independent Judges, which is part of the statewide coalition, Californians for Fair and Independent Judges , which in turn is allied with People for the American Way Coalition Groups currently include: ACLU, Santa Cruz Chapter People's Democratic Club Democratic Central Committee Executive Board GLBT Alliance of Santa Cruz In addition to circulating the national alerts, our fledgling coaltion is cirulating a community statement against the Alito nomination, which you can see on our website here
