Police stand is appalling

I am happy to see that one of our concerned citizens took the time to comment on the incident involving the “Christmas Lights Vandal.”
After having read about what occurred in our city and the comments made by Sgt. Steve Clark, I am puzzled as to how this idiotic activity is not only pardoned but utterly justified in the eyes of our local law enforcement superiors.
In answering the question presented by Sequoia Hoffmeister, “Yes, I too am outraged.”
Obviously, our local law enforcement officers choose to use their own “selective” discretion as to whom they will pardon, even considering such an offense against the entire downtown community.
The message I got from our local police department is one that encourages this sort of activity.
