Synergy Party 3, like Synergy Parties 1 & 2, was a great community-building event that took place on Wednesday January 8, 2002 at 120 Union (old Jahva House).
The night began with some great music by various local jazz artists.
New to the Synergy Party format was the use of Power Point presentations and projections of the speakers onto a big screen.
Those in attendance were able to learn about the fascinating developments taking place within many organizations, including, but not limited to:
Alcohol Fuels
AARP (American Association of Retired People)
Auroville, Sustainable Community in India
Sol Train and Sustainable Monterey Bay
The Social Side of Sustainability
The Labor Movement at UCSC
Conversation Cafe
To break up the presentations, talented women shared their belly-dancing skills with the audience.
DJ Divalia was also there to keep the late night crowd dancing until midnight.

To the delight of many, Synergy Party has another great evening planned for us. This next time there will be a very focused theme. Hope to see there...
