A possible arson fire on the morning of January 11th destroyed the labs of two biotech researchers at the UC Santa Cruz campus. At the scene this morning, some speculated that this may have been an act of sabotage, citing the controversial nature of much of the research performed there. Others were of the opinion that it was simply an accident.
