NEW PESTICIDE DRIFT REPORT RELEASE:
This Wednesday, May 7th, Pesticide Action Network North America, California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation and Pesticide Education Center will release a report entitled Secondhand Pesticides: Airborne Pesticide Drift in California through the CPR coalition. The report reveals new analysis of high concentrations of toxic pesticides in air, highlighting:
- New findings that concentrations of several commonly used pesticides in air significantly exceed levels deemed "safe" by regulatory agencies;
- Information on airborne concentrations of locally-used pesticides;
- Recommendations for state and federal pesticide regulation agencies.
