Saturday August 16 at 5:00 pm at the Cesar Chavez Park, Madeira Street in Salinas

Sunday August 17 at 12 noon in The Plazita Square of Main and Beach in Watsonville

We are close to a VICTORY. Knowing that Gov Davis has committed to signing proposed driver license legislation and that the State Assembly will vote
the week of August 18… Now we push for driver licenses without exemptions: licenses that are not only for those in the process of arranging their documents; licenses that do not exclude people for specific reasons. Now, ALL—Democrats and Republicans—should support our right to drive with safety and our efforts to keep the roads safe. All the Democrats and Republicans should support the driver licenses legislation. Give the right to every person in this country to take the drivers exam. No exceptions.
