George Cadman of Free Radio Santa Cruz interviews Jim Paul about the U.N. report back that elections will not be possible in Iraq before June 30th. Jim is the founding director of the NGO working group on the U.N. Security Council.

The answer is after Bush has secured all the assets that BELONGS to Iraq. Bush has promised the oil fields and pipelines to some of his larger contributors. Our soldiers are there merely to protect these assets.

WHY ARE WE STILL IN IRAQ? WHEN WILL ELECTIONS BE HELD IN IRAQ? The answer is the same, see above.

Why is there another election at all? Didn't Saddam win 100% of the votes in the last one?
