AFSCME 3299 Workers Rally at UCSC for a Better Contract
Members of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Local 3299, representing about 17,000 patient care, custodial & food service workers employed by the University of California, rallied last Thursday at the nine campuses statewide, in a preemptive move to secure better pay and advancement opportunities in their upcoming contract negotiations.
