I own a couple of horses.
I have some friends who have autistic kids - a 6 yr old girl and an 11 yr old boy - different families.
I invited the kids to come ride my horse - a small trail pony.
The people at the ranch objected because I'm not a professional trainer and don't have any credentials to work with autistic kids. They claimed I was unsafe.
I shot a video of me with the kids and have had several people critique and they say that I am very safe.
I had a certified trainer come out and he says my horse is safe.
The stables evicted me.
I took them to court for violating the ADA.
I am seeking athletes - professional or amateur - who engage in recreational activities - who can come to court in San Jose and support me...I do not feel that anyone has the right to decide how much "risk" another person is willing to take.
I have loaded the video of my horse with the little girl on my website:

It is almost 100MB, so you probably want a high speed connection to download.
If you or someone in your group can help, I would greatly appreciate it. I would love to pack the courtroom with disabled folk.
Thanks,
Elise Moss
