Abortion is universally classified as a women’s issue, but it is also a class issue. No matter what restrictions are placed on abortions, not all women suffer equally. Class has always been the deciding factor in the right to choose an abortion.

Dalit has taught in a community school for disempowered women, worked as an organizer in the Coalition of Women for a Just Peace and in Women in Black, and is a co-founder of "Black Laundry," a gay anti-occupation group which strives to make visible the connections between different oppressions within Israel and the occupation.
