Is the UN ready to get serious about anti-semiticism?

This editorial from the Wall Street Journal by Ann Bayefsky addresses the uncomfortable role the UN has played regarding Israel and the Jews. In its 60 years of existance, the United Nations has never held a conference on anti-semiticism until now. Readers who have noted the umpty-ump UN resolutions condemning Israel that the UN have spawned might come to believe that Israel is one fo the main violators of human rights in the world today. This would, of course, ignore much more serious human rights concerns happening elsewhere in the world with abuses and genocide occurring right now in the Sudan by an Arab/Muslim military dictatorship being number one.
