The Canadian cyclists came through Santa Cruz on their way to Cancun last week looking for a place to crash (no pun intended).

As you can see from the following, progress is being made in raising money for busses so indigenous people and peasants in Mexico can get to Cancun for the September meeting of the WTO. But only half the money needed has been raised. We urge you give whatever you can, to ask your organization to give as well (Food First has made a substantial contribution), and to re-circulate this message.

This meeting of the WTO will mark a key watershed in the future of corporate globalization. This is our chance to derail the WTO and the economic model behind it. Please help!
