Woman stabbed on Pacific Avenue
A 21-year-old homeless woman was stabbed by another woman on Pacific Avenue about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, police say.
The victim was taken to Dominican Hospital suffering a small puncture wound to her lower stomach. It was not life-threatening, police said.
The victim’s girlfriend said the suspect started the fight after the victim asked her about a stolen hat. The fight began in front of Borders Books on Pacific.
Lt. Lee Sepulveda said officers hoped to arrest the suspect Tuesday evening. They believed she was on a bus to Scotts Valley, Sepulveda said.
