Thanks for bringing up the forgotten subject of feminism and the equality of men and women. One of my pet peeve words is "Hysterical." The root of the word is Hyst as in Uterus. You know, like hysterectomy. It means mental illness caused by the uterus.

So when a man is acting "hysterical" he is the same as a woman who is driven insane by a presumably hormonal imbalance caused by her uterus.

Ironically, during a woman's menstrual cyle, she most hormonally like males during menses. So when she is most likely to be having "PMS", she is at the point where she has more male hormone operating than at any other point in her cycle.

I think the word "testerical" should be used to supplant "hysterical" since mental disease caused by too much male hormone is a lot more likely cause in most cases.
