Yet DNA does not think. DNA is essential in the building of the proteins that make up humans, a tree, or a bacteria but it does not decide to be a tree, bacteria, or whatever. The DNA is pre-programmed through heredity.
As such 3.9 to 3.5 (I lean to 3.9) billion years of heredity coupled with mutations, natural selection, and speciation have come up with all life on earth. That life is all related, but far too varied and complex to be reduced to merely being DNA.
I saw these mistakes in the first two paragraphs and could not read further.
