Mother Earth will endure though it is likely Global Warming may cause humans to become extinct.
Mother Earth recovered from being hit by huge meteors and will recover in the distant future when humans have been reduced to our original molecular components.

Although extinction is a horrible tragedy, whenever an environmental niche appears, evolution speed up and new creatures fill it.
It took only 5 000 year for a pair of finches to evolve into nearly 20 species on the Galapagos Islands and only 50 YEARS for the common English Sparrow to evolve into two very different looking birds. the ones in the US desert are small and light tan while the ones that manage to survive in Alaska are larger and darker feathered.
There will be many thousands of niches as soon as humans depart.
This is not to make light of the horror humans are inflicting on our Mother, rather to put things into perspective.
One day there will be no more Bush, Cheney, slave labor, factory farms, genetic engineering, weapons of mass destruction, herbicides, pesticides, cars, noise, smog, hugh ant-hill cities teeming with millions of work slaves, nukes, Christian fundamentalists, rapists, torturers, soldiers and war.
Fifty million years from now, none of what we worry about will matter. Earth will be renewed. No doubt, some bacteria will evolve that eats depleted uranium.
Mother Earth is a tough old woman! Check out Gaia by James Lovelock. The earth ALWAYS strives for balance and achieves it. This 10,000 year reign of naked primates is a brief fluke compared to geologic time.
