What happens when people accumulate capital? Do they just rape and pillage the earth and enslave the masses, for an endgame of dollars and sense in the bank and that's it?

Capital is a means to an end. There are many who use that capital to meet human and environmental needs.

You know nothing of the wealthy, nor the wealth, which you despise. Maybe you should get to know a class before you criticize it.

The arts, wildlife preserves, conservation efforts, universities, how do you think these are all born and how do they survive?

Case in point: The Monterey Bay Aquarium pays its bills with ticket and gift shop proceeds from tourists now, but where did the initial investment of millions of dollars come from?

Without the patronage, the investment risk, and the outright charity of the wealthy, your life here today would not be nearly so nice.

Your venom against the rich is no more rational than the conservatives' current demonization of muslims. You both fall into the same old mammalian trap of groupthink tribal hatred, relying on fear and anger to form community.

You act as if without an enemy, you would have no identity nor purpose. That is sad.
