my apologies for sounding hostile.

you condone and advocate human intervention in hummingbird migration and feeding patterns while not fully knowing (no one does) the implications of this on every species and habitat involved. also it is done purely for human pleasure. even growing plants to attract hummingbirds would be more beneficial but, on a large scale, still invasive.

the release of these deer would be deleterious. I agree. but when I learned of it my heart soared. I sincerely hope it is the start of something big.

Bent 1940 looked at pollen ingestion in hummingbirds, Carpenter and Castronova 1980 measured pollen ingestion by hummingbird chicks.
