If it doesn't fit the guidelines of what the IMC monitors have determined for this site, then yes, they do have that right to pull a post.

I don't know who pulled the post you refer to, nor the content of the post in question, but I'll bet it crossed a line somehow...

However, you raise a good point. IMHO, IMC editors should explain why a certain post is pulled.
