This quest for more power to individuals in "executive" positions -- mayor, governors, presidents, school superintendents, etc. -- seems to be woven into our decaying social and economic system. Maybe we need to replace it with a new system based on democracy, cooperation and sharing. I'd call that "socialism," but I don't care what other people want to call it. Let's get it.
