I'm pro-security culture, but when people are too freaked out to do things and have fun, then you've internalized the policeman and the cops win.
So would I rob a bank or burn a mink farm with anyone I met through AC? Uh, no. But might it be a good way to network with disparate folks? Yeah sure. And could it introduce folks to new skills and encourage them to take risks in life? Sure, maybe.
You gotta figure, especially with the most recent news, that there is a cop at every a-cafe, every open meeting, every demo, and in many collectives taking notes, recording license numbers, and taking names.
But at some point, unless you are willing to only hang out with an insular bunch of your closest like-minded friends, you're gonna have to say fuck 'em if you want to have a life.
