Becky claims the Palestinian people refused an "independent state." What was offered at Camp David? This independent state as you put it woould have meant limited control of water resources, no control of it air space, no continuous borders, Jewish only roads through the heart of the "Palestinian state," foriegn occupiers in the form of Israeli soldiers could be deployed at a moments notice, Israeli control of the Jordan Valley, etc... hardly an "independent state." In fact, Ehud Barak opined in a May 2001 editorial printed by the NY Times "a gradual process of establishing secure, defensible borders, demarcated so as to encompass more than 80 percent of the Jewish settlers in several settlement blocs over about 15 percent of Judea and Samaria(the West Bank), and to ensure a wide security zone in the Jordan Valley."

2. Demands that Israel immediately cease measures in and around Ramallah including the destruction of Palestinian civilian and security infrastructure;

3. Demands also the expeditious withdrawal of the Israeli occupying forces from Palestinian cities towards the return to the positions held prior to September 2000; etc...
