Collectively, one large group is more noticable, more newsworthy, and more likely to gather momentum from those that aren't usually activists. Since the SF action is going to be big, from movement standpoint, it would be better to get as many people there. Carpools to SF would be a good idea. While this does sacrifice a bit of civic pride in our city, remember our power is in our numbers. don't let them marginalize us.
