I got to my mom's house (located in the LA sprawl) and noticed yellow ribbons tied around the mailboxes on her street. So I asked her, "Are those yellow ribbons on the mailboxes to say: Bring our troops home alive?" She said that she did not know why it was on her mailbox.

I wonder what would happen if I tied peace signs to every mailbox in the neighborhood.
