I find it a shame that your group, whoever you are decided that this was a day of "celebration" while all over the country, it was a day of protest and direct action. I also wonder why the glbt community of Santa Cruz can't stop celebrating how beautiful they are for one minute to show some solidarity for the real life and death issues, such as this fucking war that are affecting our planet. I recently read an article on www.pressaction.com entitled "while march 20th will fail," though I didn't entirely agree with it, it had some very good points which were brought to mind when I read this post.
