Isn't it funny that when a 10 yr-old suicide bomber is stopped by the IDF, you have to blame Israel? Not the cynical adults who strapped these bombs to him. Israel has no desire to kill any children, Palestinian or otherwise. Israeli hospitals treat sick and wounded Palestinian children all the time at its own expense. The poverty the Palestinians are experiencing is in contrast to the economy they had when Israel controlled the West Bank and Gaza from 1967 to 1993. Ever since the Palestinian Authority was set up, their economy has headed for the toilet. Unemployment went from 5% to 20% by 1996 under the rule of the PA. The PA is also notorious for siphoning off foreign aid and using the money to build luxury villas for Arafat and his friends. But you have to blame Israel every time for the suffering of the Palestinians, don't you? Facts apparently don't matter.

As for death tolls of Israeli/Palestinian children (I noticed you did not even mention the deaths of Israeli children in your article)---consider this. Between Sept. 2000 and May 2002, 11.7% of the Palestinian deaths were children aged 15 and under. But among the Israelis, 57.7% of the Israeli dead were children aged 15 and under. So WHO is targeting children?

I am not saying that the Israelis are perfect or that unlawful acts of violence against Palestinians do not occur. But it is not a matter of policy for the IDF or the Israeli govt. to target and kill children.
