So what's your solution? At this point the governor is borrowing from the future, essentially prolonging the inevitable, HIGHER TAXES. Meanwhile, his buddy, "Kenny Boy" Lay, from Enron, who screwed the state out of $9 billion during the energy fix of 2000/2001, is off the hook. Who pays? Well, as you can see its the service workers. I agree, water, power, garbage colllection etc.. all should be free, but in an imperfect world, people like the 80 health service workers in Santa Cruz County about to be fired, need a way to make a living. The budget cuts bleed money form the poor, ill, and elderly, while rich capitalists, take more and more. The governator's plan to make California "more business friendly," is leaving us, the workers out in the cold.
