The Democrat Party has now been established for centuries as a capitalist party of war, oppression, and exploitation. If, in the unlikely event that ever changes, the Revolutionary Party platform can be changed by the membership. I do not think that most historians would see less in the Republican Party's early documents if they had declared the Democrat Party the party of chattel slavery.

The need for a party with clarity on the issue of the role of the Democrat Party as a party of war, oppression, and exploitation is a key reason for the need for the Revolutionary Party.
