The bombing of the King David Hotel (which was being used as the headquarters for the British military) included a phoned in message 30 minutes before the blast in order to allow an evacuation to take place. For unknown reasons, the British ignored the warning with lethal results. The Irgun--Menachem Begin's group used their terrorism against strictly military targets--completely UNLIKE the Palestinian suicide bombers who try to kill as many civilians as possible. Oh, and Palestinians NEVER call in with warnings in advance.

Sharon's forces did not kill even one person in Sabra and Shatilla in 1982. Those Palestinians were killed by Lebanese Christian militia. Sharon gave the go ahead for them to march into the Palestinian villages because Palestinian terrorists had hacked to death 65 Lebanese Christians a day or two before.
